Step 1: Prep the Shrimp 🍤

  1. Pat shrimp dry using paper towels to ensure a good sear in the pan.
  2. Season lightly with salt and black pepper, then set aside.

Step 2: Make the Sauce 🥣

  1. In a small bowl, combine sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and sesame oil (if using).
  2. Stir well and set aside. This will be your glossy, flavorful glaze.

Step 3: Cook the Shrimp 🔥

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive or vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Place shrimp in a single layer and cook for 1–2 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque. Avoid overcrowding the pan for even cooking.
  3. Transfer the cooked shrimp to a plate and set aside while you build the sauce.
