While the bacon is cooking, heat a separate skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Season the ground beef with garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Form the seasoned beef into two large patties (or break the beef into shredded pieces if using pulled beef). Cook the patties in the pan for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C). If using shredded beef, simply heat it in the pan until warm.
Toast the buns: While the beef is cooking, spread a small amount of butter on the inside of each sandwich bun. Toast the buns in a separate skillet over medium heat, cut side down, until they are golden brown and crispy. Set the toasted buns aside.
Assemble the sandwich: Once the beef patties and bacon are ready, it’s time to assemble the sandwich. Place a beef patty on the bottom half of each toasted bun. Layer the three cheeses (cheddar, mozzarella, and provolone) over the beef patty, stacking them to create a gooey, cheesy tower.
Finish with bacon: Place several slices of crispy bacon on top of the cheese, allowing the smoky, crunchy bacon to add texture and flavor to the sandwich. If desired, you can drizzle a little bit of barbecue sauce or hot sauce on top for extra flavor.
Top and serve: Place the top half of the toasted bun onto the sandwich and gently press down to help everything come together. Slice the sandwich in half for easier eating, and serve immediately. Enjoy this mouthwatering Triple Cheese Bacon Explosion Sandwich while it’s warm and gooey!
