Toast the Bread
Toast the slices of bread to your preferred crispness. Set aside. -
Prepare the Tuna Mixture
In a medium bowl, combine the tuna, mayonnaise or Greek yogurt, corn, lemon juice, and a pinch each of salt and black pepper. Mix well until creamy and evenly distributed. -
Mash the Avocado
In a separate bowl, mash the ripe avocado with a fork. Add a touch of lemon juice and salt if desired for extra flavor and to keep it from browning. -
Assemble the Toasts
Spread the mashed avocado evenly over each toasted bread slice.
Spoon the tuna mixture on top, spreading gently to cover. -
Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle with chili flakes or fresh herbs for a flavor boost. Serve immediately.
