On social networks, there are challenges that seem simple but hide logical traps that few manage to detect. One of them is the famous riddle of the 6 eggs, which has baffled thousands of people.
At first glance, it seems like a simple account, but only those who pay attention to detail manage to find the correct answer. This type of test not only entertains, it also trains our mind to reason logically and accurately.
This riddle is based on subtle reasoning
The image reads:
“I have 6 eggs. I broke 2, fried 2, and ate 2. How many eggs are left? 99% of people are wrong.”
Most people do a direct count:
6 – 2 (broken) – 2 (fried) – 2 (eaten) = 0 eggs.
But this is an error of interpretation.
- 2 eggs broke.
- Those same 2 eggs were fried.
- And then, those same 2 eggs were eaten.
So, in total, only 2 eggs were used for the whole process. The other 4 remain intact.
The correct answer is: there are 4 eggs left.
