👨🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Pasta:
- Boil pasta in a large pot of salted water until al dente according to package instructions.
- Drain and set aside, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta water.
2️⃣ Season & Sear the Seafood:
- Season shrimp and lobster with half the Cajun seasoning.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat.
- Sear the shrimp and lobster for 2–3 minutes per side until just cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
3️⃣ Build the Sauce:
- In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion for 2–3 minutes until soft.
- Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Stir in the remaining Cajun seasoning and smoked paprika.
- Pour in the broth and heavy cream. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
- Stir in the parmesan cheese and mix until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
