🥩🦐 Filet Mignon with Shrimp & Lobster Cream Sauce – Surf & Turf Elegance

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Filet Mignon:

  1. Pat steaks dry with paper towels and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat until hot but not smoking.
  3. Sear the steaks for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or to your desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy (130–135°F / 55–57°C for medium-rare).
  4. Transfer steaks to a plate, tent with foil, and let rest.

2️⃣ Cook the Shrimp:

  1. In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon butter and the shrimp. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Sauté for 2–3 minutes per side, or until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
