Red, White and Blue Poke Cake (Patriotic Jelly Dessert)

Ingredients

For the Cake:

• 1 box vanilla cake mix
• Ingredients listed on the cake mix box (usually includes):
  • 3 large eggs
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water

For the Poke (Coloured Jelly):

• 1 box red jelly (strawberry or cherry – 85 g / 3 oz)
• 1 box blue jelly (blue raspberry – 85 g / 3 oz)
• 1 cup boiling water + ½ cup cold water (for each jelly)

For the Top Layer:

• 2 cups (475 ml) cold milk
• 1 box (100 g) vanilla instant pudding mix
• 2 cups whipped topping (Cool Whip-style) or 400 ml whipped cream

For Decoration (Optional):

• Red, white, and blue sprinkles
• Fresh strawberries and blueberries
