Step 1: Make the Crust
- Preheat your oven to 325ยฐF (160ยฐC).
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until evenly moistened.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of an 8ร8-inch baking dish to form an even crust layer. Set aside while you prepare the filling.
Step 2: Prepare the Cheesecake Filling
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar together using a hand mixer (or stand mixer) until completely smooth and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition until just combined.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
