Banana Pudding Cheesecake Creation – Creamy, Dreamy & Southern-Inspired

🍰 Instructions

1️⃣ Make the Vanilla Wafer Crust

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Lightly grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine crushed vanilla wafers, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until evenly moistened.
  3. Press mixture firmly into the bottom and slightly up the sides of the pan.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove and let cool completely while you prepare the filling.

2️⃣ Prepare the Cheesecake Filling

  1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, beating gently after each (do not overmix).
  3. Mix in mashed bananas, vanilla extract, banana extract, and sour cream.
  4. Stir in the flour until just combined.
  5. Pour filling over the crust and smooth the top.

3️⃣ Bake the Cheesecake

  1. Place the pan in a water bath or wrap in foil and bake for 55–65 minutes at 325°F (160°C), or until the center is just slightly jiggly.
  2. Turn off oven, crack the door, and let cheesecake rest for 1 hour.
  3. Remove and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
