👩‍🍳 Directions

1️⃣ Prepare the Blackberry Sauce

  1. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine blackberries, water, sugar, and salt.
  2. Stir occasionally until the berries begin to break down and release juices (about 5–6 minutes).

2️⃣ Thicken the Sauce

  1. Mix cornstarch and lemon juice in a small bowl to form a slurry.
  2. Pour slurry into the blackberry mixture. Stir and cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool to room temperature.

3️⃣ Prepare the Graham Cracker Crust

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until the crumbs are fully moistened.
  3. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom and sides of a 9½-inch (24 cm) deep pie dish.
  4. Refrigerate the crust for at least 15 minutes to firm up while you prepare the filling.
