1. Make the Fries
- Oven-Baked: Toss potato fries with 1 tbsp oil and a pinch of salt. Spread on a baking sheet and roast at 425°F (220°C) for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.
- Fried: Heat oil in a deep skillet and fry potatoes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and season with salt.
2. Cook the Beef & Onions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season the beef with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Sear the beef for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
- Add sliced onions to the skillet and cook for another 2–3 minutes until tender and slightly caramelized.
