1️⃣ Prepare the Cake Batter
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 10- or 12-cup Bundt pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, oil, sour cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir just until combined.
- Fold in the diced apples and nuts (if using) until evenly distributed.
- Spoon the batter evenly into the prepared Bundt pan and smooth the top.
2️⃣ Bake
- Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then carefully invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
