👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Bloom the Yeast:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy — this shows the yeast is active. ⏳

2️⃣ Make the Dough:

  1. Add 5 cups of flour, salt, and eggs to the yeast mixture. Mix until a soft, sticky dough forms. 🥣
  2. Stir in the melted butter and continue mixing until the dough becomes smooth and elastic (about 8–10 minutes of kneading by hand or using a stand mixer with a dough hook). 🧈

3️⃣ First Rise:

  1. Cover the dough with a damp cloth or plastic wrap. Let rise in a warm place for 1–2 hours, or until doubled in size. ❄️
