Candy Apple Vodka Ice Bombs

  • 1 cup vodka
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar

  1. Start by gathering your ingredients. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of vodka, 1/2 cup of apple juice, and 1/2 cup of sugar. The apple juice gives the ice bombs a crisp, fruity flavor that pairs perfectly with the smoothness of vodka, while the sugar adds a touch of sweetness that balances the tang of the apple juice.
  2. Stir the mixture thoroughly until the sugar is completely dissolved. This step is important, as undissolved sugar can create a gritty texture in the final product. Make sure the mixture is smooth and well-combined.
  3. Once the mixture is ready, carefully pour it into ice bomb molds, filling each mold to the top. If you don’t have specialized ice bomb molds, you can use regular silicone ice cube trays, or even mini muffin pans, as long as they can hold the liquid and easily pop out when frozen.
  4. Place the molds in the freezer and allow them to freeze for at least 4 hours, or until completely solid. If you’re in a hurry, placing them in the freezer overnight will ensure they freeze properly, but 4 hours is typically sufficient for most molds. The freezing process ensures that the ice bombs will be firm and easy to remove from the molds.
