Step 1: Prepare Your Pan
- Line an 8×8-inch square pan with parchment paper, leaving a bit of overhang for easy removal.
- If using graham cracker crumbs for a crust layer, press them into the bottom of the pan before adding fudge.
Step 2: Melt the White Chocolate
- In a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler, gently melt the white chocolate. Stir every 20–30 seconds to avoid scorching. Once smooth, set aside to cool slightly.
Step 3: Mix the Fudge Base
- In a separate mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Add sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix until fully incorporated and lump-free.
- Gradually mix in the melted white chocolate until a thick, smooth batter forms.
