Instructions
1. Preheat & Prep:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a large baking dish with olive oil or non-stick spray and set aside.
2. Cook the Beef Mixture:
- In a large skillet over medium heat, drizzle a bit of olive oil. Add the diced onion and minced garlic and sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened and fragrant.
- Add the ground beef, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until fully browned. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Drain any excess fat if needed.
3. Combine the Casserole Base:
- In a large mixing bowl or directly in the skillet (if large enough), combine the cooked pasta, marinara or pizza sauce, and cooked beef mixture. Stir until everything is evenly coated in sauce.
- Fold in half of the shredded mozzarella and all of the Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
