1️⃣ Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the twisted pasta and cook until al dente according to package instructions.
- Before draining, scoop out ½ cup of pasta water and set aside. Drain the rest and set the pasta aside while you prepare the sauce.
2️⃣ Season and Cook the Chicken
- In a large bowl, season the chicken strips with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken strips and cook for 5–6 minutes, flipping occasionally, until golden brown and cooked through.
- Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and keep warm.
