Cheesy Shrimp & Crab Bake Dip

  • Crusty bread, crackers, or tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dip Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Stir until smooth and creamy. Add the shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt and pepper to taste. Stir everything together until it is well combined.
  2. Fold in the Seafood: Gently fold in the chopped shrimp and lump crab meat, making sure they are evenly distributed throughout the creamy mixture. Be careful not to break up the crab too much, as you want to preserve the texture of the seafood.
  3. Assemble the Dip: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer the seafood and cheese mixture into a small baking dish, such as a 9×9-inch dish or an oven-safe skillet. Use a spatula to spread the mixture evenly in the dish.
  4. Bake the Dip: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and golden brown on top. The cheese should be melted and slightly browned, and the dip should be hot throughout. If you want a more golden top, you can broil the dip for the last 2-3 minutes, but watch it carefully to avoid burning.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Once the dip is baked, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the top for a pop of color and freshness. Serve the dip warm with crusty bread, crackers, or tortilla chips for dipping.
