👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prepare the Chicken
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Season both sides of the chicken cutlets with salt and pepper.
- Dredge each piece lightly in flour, shaking off the excess.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil or butter over medium-high heat. Brown chicken for 2–3 minutes per side, just until golden (it will finish cooking in the oven). Transfer to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
2️⃣ Sauté the Mushrooms
- In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté for 4–5 minutes, until softened and lightly browned. Spoon mushrooms evenly over the chicken in the baking dish.
3️⃣ Layer the Cheese & Sauce
