Chocolate Bliss Dump Cake

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Baking Dish

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or nonstick spray to prevent sticking and ensure easy serving later.

2️⃣ Assemble the Layers

  1. Pour the cherry pie filling evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, spreading it out with a spatula so the fruit covers the base completely.
  2. Sprinkle the dry chocolate cake mix directly over the cherry filling, ensuring an even layer — do not stir.
  3. Scatter the semi-sweet chocolate chips evenly across the top of the dry cake mix for added richness and a melty chocolate finish.

3️⃣ Add the Liquid Mixture

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter and milk until well combined.
  2. Pour this mixture evenly over the top of the chocolate chips and cake mix. Resist the urge to stir — this “dump” method allows the layers to bake into a gooey, self-saucing dessert.
