- In a chilled mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Carefully unroll the cooled cake. Spread the whipped cream evenly over the surface, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Roll the cake back up tightly (without the towel) and place it seam-side down on a serving platter.
3️⃣ Make the Chocolate Ganache Topping
- Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan until it just begins to simmer (do not boil).
- Pour the hot cream over the chocolate chips in a bowl and let sit for 1 minute.
- Whisk until smooth and glossy. Allow to cool slightly until it thickens but is still pourable.
- Pour the ganache evenly over the rolled cake, letting it drip beautifully down the sides.
