Chocolate Chip Cookie Cheesecake 🍪🧀 – A Dreamy, Decadent Dessert

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Cookie Crust

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine crushed chocolate chip cookies and melted butter. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan, creating an even layer.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool slightly.

2️⃣ Prepare the Cheesecake Filling

  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  2. Gradually add sugar and vanilla, mixing until fully combined.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Be careful not to overmix.
  4. Stir in sour cream and flour until smooth and well combined.

3️⃣ Assemble the Cheesecake

  1. Pour the cheesecake filling into the prepared cookie crust.
  2. Use a spatula to smooth the top and ensure the filling is evenly distributed.
  3. Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
  4. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool in the oven for 1 hour with the door slightly ajar. Then transfer to the fridge and chill for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
