Chocolate Mocha Fudge Cake

🧑‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Cake Layers

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).A fully heated oven helps the cakes rise efficiently and evenly.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt, sugar) in a bowl.Whisk thoroughly to remove clumps—especially in the cocoa—and distribute the leaveners uniformly.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, milk, oil, coffee, and vanilla.The hot coffee will slightly warm the mixture, enhancing the cocoa aroma.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture and beat until you have a smooth batter.The batter will be thin, which helps achieve a moist and tender texture after baking.
  5. Divide the batter into two equal parts and pour into greased cake pans.Tap the pans lightly to remove air bubbles and level the surface.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes (do the toothpick test).A toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean or with small moist crumbs.
  7. Let the cakes cool.Cooling completely prevents the ganache from melting or sliding off.
