1. Prep the Filling
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth.The mixture should be creamy and spreadable, with no lumps—this ensures an even fill inside each roll.
2. Fill & Roll
- Unroll the crescent dough and separate into individual triangles.Try to keep the dough intact so it rolls neatly and holds the filling well.
- Spread a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture onto each triangle, stopping just before the edges.This prevents excess filling from leaking during baking.
- Roll each triangle starting from the wide end toward the tip to form crescents.Place seam-side down so the rolls stay closed while baking.
