Cinnamon Sugar Donut Muffins 🍩🧁

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Muffin Batter

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a standard 12-cup muffin tin.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg (if using), baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until combined. Add the egg, milk, and vanilla, and whisk until smooth.
  4. Gently stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.

2️⃣ Bake

  1. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
  2. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until the tops are lightly golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  3. Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
