: Cinnamon Swirl Oreo Cake with Cookies & Cream Icing

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Cake Batter

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round or loaf cake pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together both sugars, melted butter, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla until smooth and well blended.
  4. Gradually stir the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined — do not overmix.
  5. Fold in the crushed Oreo chunks evenly.

Step 2: Add the Cinnamon Swirl

  1. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter to form the swirl mixture.
  2. Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared pan. Drizzle the cinnamon swirl mixture over this layer.
  3. Top with the remaining cake batter and smooth the top.
  4. Use a knife or skewer to gently swirl the cinnamon mixture into the batter for a marbled effect.
