Classic Cheese Pie

Ingredients:

2 cups of grated cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)

2 eggs

1 cup of milk

1/2 cup of sour cream

1 sheet of puff pastry or shortcrust pastry

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1/2 teaspoon of black pepper

Optional: Herbs like parsley or chives

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the pastry and line a pie dish, trimming the edges. Prick the base with a fork.

In a bowl, mix the grated cheese, eggs, milk, sour cream, salt, and pepper until smooth. Add herbs if desired.

Pour the mixture into the pastry-lined dish.

Bake for 25–30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.

Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
