Classic Cinnamon Toast

  1. Set your oven to broil, or preheat to 400°F (200°C) if using a standard baking method.

2️⃣ Mix the Cinnamon Sugar:

  1. In a small bowl, stir together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon until well combined.

3️⃣ Butter the Bread:

  1. Evenly spread the softened butter over one side of each slice of bread, covering edge to edge for full flavor.

4️⃣ Add the Cinnamon Sugar:

  1. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture generously over the buttered side of each slice, pressing lightly so it sticks. Use any extra to cover gaps or sprinkle over the edges for extra crunch.

5️⃣ Toast It:

  1. Place the slices on a baking sheet in a single layer. Broil for 2–4 minutes, watching carefully. Remove once the sugar is bubbling and the edges are golden brown.
  2. If baking instead of broiling, bake for 8–10 minutes or until lightly toasted and caramelized on top.
