Ingredients
- Apple pie filling or chopped apples
- All-purpose flour
- Sugar
- Butter or oil, melted
- Eggs
- Milk
- Cinnamon sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease your loaf pans with butter, oil, or non-stick spray to prevent sticking and help create a golden crust. Lining the pans with parchment paper can make removal even easier.
- Prepare the Batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients for the bread—apples, flour, sugar, melted butter, eggs, and milk. Mix gently until everything is fully incorporated. Avoid overmixing to ensure a tender, soft crumb.
- Pour and Top: Pour the batter evenly into the prepared loaf pans. Sprinkle the tops generously with cinnamon sugar. This will create a sweet, slightly crunchy topping that caramelizes beautifully during baking.
- Bake: Place the loaf pans in the preheated oven. Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. The bread should be golden brown and slightly pulling away from the edges of the pan.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 5–10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve warm for a cozy breakfast with coffee or let it cool slightly and pair with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert.
