1. Prepare the Oven and Pan:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9-inch (22–23 cm) springform or round cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
2. Make the Cream Cheese Batter:
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and lump-free.
- Add the sugar and beat until light and fluffy, about 2–3 minutes.
3. Add Wet Ingredients:
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, mixing just until combined after each.
- Add the vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
