Cream Cheese Velvet Cake

  • ¼ cup powdered sugar

  • 1–2 tbsp milk or cream

🧁 Preparation Steps

1. Preheat & Prep Pan

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Grease a 9-inch (22–23 cm) springform pan and line the base with parchment paper.

2. Cream Cheese Base

  • Beat the cream cheese until smooth and creamy.

  • Add sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy.

3. Incorporate Eggs & Vanilla

  • Beat in eggs one at a time, mixing briefly after each.

  • Stir in the vanilla extract.

4. Dry Ingredients

  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

  • Fold into the wet ingredients using a spatula or on low mixer speed — just until combined.
    (Avoid overmixing.)

5. Bake

  • Pour batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

  • Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  • Let the cake cool completely in the pan.
