🔥 Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the pasta and cook according to the package directions until al dente. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Once cooked, drain and set aside. Reserve a bit of pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce later.
2️⃣ Sauté the Seafood
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter until foamy.
- Add the shrimp and lobster pieces to the skillet. Season with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Sauté for 2–3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque and the lobster is cooked through but still tender.
- Squeeze in fresh lemon juice to brighten the flavors, then transfer the seafood to a plate and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the Cajun Cream Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt another 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant, stirring constantly to avoid burning.
- Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Let it come to a gentle simmer.
- Whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until fully melted and incorporated into the sauce.
- Season with Cajun seasoning, onion powder, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes if you like extra heat.
- Simmer the sauce for 3–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to your desired consistency. Adjust seasoning to taste.
