Creamy Garlic Pasta with Steak – Rich, Savory & Satisfying

Instructions

Step 1: Cook the Steak

  1. Pat the steak dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
  3. Sear the steak for 3–4 minutes per side (for medium-rare), adding butter in the last minute and basting the steak.
  4. Remove from heat, let rest for 5–10 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.

Step 2: Make the Creamy Garlic Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan and season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Let the sauce simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add a splash of pasta water if needed to loosen.
