1️⃣ Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add pasta and cook until al dente according to package directions.
- Drain and set aside, reserving about ½ cup pasta water.
2️⃣ Cook the Shrimp
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add shrimp and sauté for 2–3 minutes per side, or until pink and cooked through.
- Transfer shrimp to a plate and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the Creamy Sauce
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add smoked paprika, cayenne (if using), and black pepper. Cook for 30 seconds more.
- Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Let the sauce cook for 3–5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
