Crispy Chicken & Cheese Roll-Ups

Directions

1️⃣ Prep the Chicken

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place each chicken breast between two sheets of plastic wrap. Use a meat mallet to pound until about ¼-inch thick for even cooking.

2️⃣ Assemble the Roll-Ups

  1. Lay each chicken breast flat. Place 1–2 slices of cheese and one slice of ham or turkey (if using) on top.
  2. Starting from one end, roll tightly into a cylinder shape. Secure each roll with toothpicks to hold the filling in place.

3️⃣ Bread the Chicken

  1. Set up a dredging station with three shallow bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for a mix of panko, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  2. Coat each roll first in flour, then dip in beaten egg, and finally coat evenly in the panko mixture. Press gently so the breadcrumbs adhere well.
