Crispy Garlic Parmesan Potato Wedges

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven. Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to ensure the wedges don’t stick and to help them bake evenly.
  2. Season the potatoes. In a large mixing bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano (if using), salt, and black pepper. Make sure all the potato wedges are evenly coated with the seasoning mix.
  3. Coat with Parmesan cheese. Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the bowl and toss again until the wedges are evenly coated with the cheese. This gives the wedges a deliciously cheesy, crispy crust as they bake.
  4. Arrange and bake. Spread the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Make sure the wedges are not crowded, so they cook evenly and get crispy. Bake for 35–40 minutes, flipping the wedges halfway through to ensure they cook evenly on both sides. The wedges should be golden brown and crispy when done.
  5. Garnish and serve. Once the wedges are done, remove them from the oven and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley for a burst of color and freshness. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces like ranch or marinara sauce for added flavor.
