👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Prep the Casserole
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking dish.
- In the baking dish, whisk together rinsed rice, melted butter, chicken broth, minced garlic, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
2️⃣ Add the Chicken
- Season chicken with paprika, salt, pepper, and dried thyme if using.
- Place the chicken pieces directly on top of the rice mixture.
3️⃣ Bake
- Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 15–20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temp 165°F/74°C) and rice is tender.
- If desired, broil for 2–3 minutes at the end to crisp the top slightly.
4️⃣ Rest & Serve
