Garlic Pan Shrimp (Gambas al Ajillo / Scampi–Style) – Quick, Bold & Irresistibly Garlick

👨‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the Shrimp

  1. Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and season lightly with salt and pepper.

2️⃣ Sauté the Garlic

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1–2 minutes, stirring often, until garlic is just golden and fragrant — do not let it burn.

3️⃣ Cook the Shrimp

  1. Add shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  2. Deglaze the pan with lemon juice and toss the shrimp to coat in the garlicky oil.

    4️⃣ Serve
