🔥 Instructions
1. Prepare the Hamburger Patties:
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, egg, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix gently with your hands or a spatula until just combined — do not overmix to keep the patties tender.
- Form the mixture into 4 evenly sized oval patties and set aside.
2. Sear the Patties:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Place the patties in the skillet and cook for about 4–5 minutes per side until well browned and nearly cooked through. Transfer to a plate and set aside — they’ll finish cooking in the gravy.
3. Make the Onion Gravy:
- In the same skillet, add the sliced onions. Sauté for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they’re soft and lightly golden.
- Sprinkle the flour over the onions and stir well to coat. Cook for 1–2 minutes to eliminate the raw flour taste.
- Gradually pour in the beef broth, stirring continuously to create a smooth gravy. Bring to a gentle simmer and let it thicken slightly.
4. Finish and Serve:
