Instructions
1. Prep the Strawberries
- In a bowl, combine strawberries with ¼ cup sugar and lemon juice.
- Let sit for 15–20 minutes, then mash lightly or blend (for smoother texture).
2. Make the Ice Cream Base
- In another bowl, whisk together the cream, milk, remaining sugar, vanilla, and salt until sugar is dissolved.
- Stir in the mashed/blended strawberries until fully combined.
3. Chill & Churn
- Chill the mixture in the fridge for 1–2 hours (or overnight for deeper flavor).
- Pour into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions (usually 20–25 minutes).
4. Freeze
