Instructions

1. Prep the Strawberries

  1. In a bowl, combine strawberries with ¼ cup sugar and lemon juice.
  2. Let sit for 15–20 minutes, then mash lightly or blend (for smoother texture).

2. Make the Ice Cream Base

  1. In another bowl, whisk together the cream, milk, remaining sugar, vanilla, and salt until sugar is dissolved.
  2. Stir in the mashed/blended strawberries until fully combined.

3. Chill & Churn

  1. Chill the mixture in the fridge for 1–2 hours (or overnight for deeper flavor).
  2. Pour into an ice cream maker and churn according to manufacturer’s instructions (usually 20–25 minutes).

    4. Freeze
