Honey-Glazed Drumsticks with Garlic Butter Veggies & Rolls

Directions

1. Marinate and Bake the Drumsticks

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, olive oil, ketchup, minced garlic, black pepper, and chili flakes if using. This creates a balanced sweet and savory glaze with a touch of spice.
  2. Place the chicken drumsticks in the bowl and toss to coat them evenly. For deeper flavor, marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the drumsticks on a baking tray lined with parchment or foil for easier cleanup. Pour remaining marinade over the top.
  4. Bake for 35–40 minutes, turning the drumsticks halfway through to ensure even browning. The glaze will thicken slightly and cling to the drumsticks as they cook.

2. Sauté the Garlic Butter Veggies

  1. While the chicken bakes, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced onion, carrot sticks, trimmed green beans, and chopped zucchini. Stir to coat with butter and begin sautéing.
  3. Season the veggies with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and dried parsley. Continue to cook for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender-crisp and lightly golden at the edges.
