- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup cream cheese
- ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder or 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Chicken:
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chicken slices and sauté until lightly browned (if raw), or cook for 2–3 minutes just to warm if using pre-cooked chicken. Remove from the skillet and set aside. - Steam the Broccoli:
Steam the broccoli florets for 3–4 minutes until just tender but not mushy. Drain and set aside. - Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In the same skillet, add heavy cream and cream cheese. Stir over medium-low heat until melted and fully combined into a smooth sauce. - Season the Sauce:
Stir in the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder or fresh garlic, onion powder, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Let the sauce cook for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened and creamy. - Combine Everything:
Add the chicken, steamed broccoli, bacon or ham, and optional sun-dried tomatoes to the sauce. Toss gently until well coated and heated through. - Serve:
Serve hot, optionally garnished with extra Parmesan cheese or fresh herbs like parsley or basil.
