- Prepare the Lobster Topping: In a small skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant. Add the chopped lobster meat to the pan, and stir gently to combine. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the lobster is heated through and infused with the garlic butter. Squeeze in the lemon juice, then season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and set aside.
- Make the Burger Patties: While the lobster is cooking, form the ground beef into 4 equal balls. Season each ball generously with salt and black pepper. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of vegetable oil. Once the oil is hot, add the beef balls to the skillet. Using a heavy spatula or burger press, smash each beef ball down firmly to form a thin patty. Cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the edges of the patties are browned and crispy. Flip the patties and immediately add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each one. Continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patty is cooked to your desired doneness.
- Toast the Buns: While the burgers are cooking, slice the burger buns and lightly toast them in the same skillet or under a broiler until golden brown. This will add a little extra crunch and flavor to the buns.
- Assemble the Burgers: Once the burger patties are ready and the buns are toasted, place a patty on the bottom half of each bun. Generously top the patty with the garlic butter lobster mixture. If desired, add your favorite toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, or pickles, and spread any condiments you prefer, such as mayonnaise or ketchup.
