: One-Pan Beef and Cheese Pasta

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef. In a large deep skillet or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart as it cooks, until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
  2. Add the seasonings. Stir in the butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes (if using), paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 1–2 minutes until the garlic becomes fragrant and the spices have a chance to bloom in the butter.
  3. Add the broth and pasta. Pour in the beef broth and uncooked pasta. Stir everything together and bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium-low, cover the skillet, and let the pasta simmer for 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
  4. Create the creamy cheese sauce. Stir in the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and shredded mozzarella. Mix well until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy and smooth. This step will turn the broth into a rich, cheesy sauce that coats the pasta beautifully.
  5. Let it rest and serve. Remove the skillet from the heat and let the dish sit for 3–5 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken slightly. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley for garnish before serving.
