6. Make the Frosting:
- In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter together until creamy and smooth.
- Add powdered sugar one cup at a time, beating after each addition.
- Add the vanilla extract and beat for another 1ā2 minutes until fluffy and spreadable.
7. Assemble the Cake:
- Place one cooled cake layer on a serving plate or cake stand. Spread a generous layer of frosting over the top.
- Sprinkle Oreo chunks over the frosting.
- Top with the second cake layer. Spread frosting over the top and sides.
- Decorate the top with more Oreo chunks, pressing lightly so they stick to the frosting.
