1️⃣ Prepare the Cheesecake Layer
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the unbaked pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish. Crimp or decorate the edges if desired.
- In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Add 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 1 egg, and 1 tsp vanilla extract. Beat until creamy and lump-free.
- Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly into the bottom of the pie crust.
2️⃣ Make the Pecan Layer
- In another bowl, whisk together corn syrup, brown sugar, 3 eggs, salt, and 1 tsp vanilla extract until fully combined.
- Stir in chopped pecans.
- Carefully pour the pecan mixture over the cheesecake layer. Use a spoon to gently spread the pecans evenly across the surface if needed.
