Instructions
1. Marinate the Beef:
- In a bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, the minced garlic, minced ginger, and thinly sliced beef. Toss well to ensure each slice is coated. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes while you prepare the remaining ingredients.
2. Prepare the Sauce:
- In a separate small bowl, mix the remaining 1 tablespoon soy sauce with the oyster sauce and cornstarch. Stir until smooth. This will form the thick, savory glaze for your stir fry.
3. Blanch the Broccoli:
- Bring a pot of water to a rolling boil. Add the broccoli florets and blanch for 2 minutes until they are bright green and slightly tender. Immediately drain and rinse under cold water or place in an ice bath to stop the cooking. Drain well and set aside.
4. Cook the Beef:
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat until shimmering.
- Add the marinated beef in a single layer. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes, turning as needed, until browned and just cooked through. Do not overcrowd the pan; work in batches if necessary. Remove the cooked beef and set aside.
5. Cook the Broccoli:
- In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of oil. Add the blanched broccoli and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until tender-crisp and lightly caramelized on the edges.
6. Combine and Finish:
