- 1 box red jelly (strawberry or cherry – 85 g / 3 oz)
- 1 box blue jelly (blue raspberry – 85 g / 3 oz)
- 1 cup boiling water + ½ cup cold water for each color
For the Top Layer
- 2 cups (475 ml) cold milk
- 1 box (100 g) vanilla instant pudding mix
- 2 cups whipped topping (Cool Whip style) or 400 ml whipped cream
For Decoration (Optional)
- Red, white, and blue sprinkles
- Fresh strawberries and blueberries
The poke-and-pour method allows the jelly to seep deep into the cake, creating colorful vertical stripes and an extra-moist texture. The light pudding topping adds creaminess without being overly sweet.
