1️⃣ Make the Brownie Base
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease lightly.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk melted butter and sugar until combined. Add eggs and vanilla and whisk until smooth.
- Stir dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until a thick batter forms. Spread into the prepared pan in an even layer.
2️⃣ Prepare the Cheesecake Layer
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add egg and vanilla, beating just until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips. Gently spread the cheesecake mixture over the brownie layer.
