Spicy Cajun Seafood Ramen Bowl

  • 1/2 lb lobster meat, cooked and chopped (or 2 lobster tails, peeled and chopped)
  • 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 lb smoked sausage or Andouille sausage, sliced
  • 1/2 cup corn kernels (fresh, frozen, or canned)
  • 2 soft-boiled eggs (for topping)
  • 2 bundles ramen noodles (or your preferred noodle)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Make the Broth: In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder, cooking for another 1 minute to allow the spices to bloom in the butter.
  2. Simmer the Broth: Pour in the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a simmer. Once the broth is simmering, stir in the heavy cream, soy sauce, and hot sauce (if using). Taste the broth and adjust the seasoning with salt, pepper, or extra hot sauce if you prefer more heat. Let the broth simmer on low heat for 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  3. Cook the Noodles: While the broth is simmering, cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain the noodles and set aside.
  4. Cook the Seafood and Sausage: In a separate pan, cook the sausage slices over medium heat until browned and slightly crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove the sausage and set it aside. In the same pan, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. If you’re using lobster tails, cook them in the pan for 3-4 minutes or until the meat is tender and opaque. Once the seafood is cooked, remove it from the pan and set aside.
  5. Assemble the Bowl: Divide the cooked ramen noodles between two bowls. Pour the hot, creamy Cajun broth over the noodles, making sure each bowl is generously filled with broth. Top each bowl with the cooked lobster, shrimp, sausage, and corn. Carefully add a soft-boiled egg to each bowl, cutting the egg in half to reveal the yolk.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Garnish the bowls with freshly chopped parsley, green onions, and a squeeze of lemon juice for a burst of freshness. Serve with additional lemon wedges on the side. Enjoy your Spicy Cajun Seafood Ramen Bowl while it’s still hot and flavorful!
